This week’s focus is all about Facebook. If you followed last week’s post about Twitter, I hope you have an increased comfort level with Twitter and are now ready to move onto a new focus week. Keep tweeting this week if you have time, but let’s move forward with Facebook.
You may have a personal page for friends and a fan page or two. Begin by editing your profile and cleaning up all parts of your listing and tabs for accuracy and making sure it represents where you are today in life and business.
Next, view all your notifications, messages, and friend requests and clean up all of it. Feel free to change your notification settings as well. Click on Account settings in the upper right corner of your screen and make adjustments for your time and life style.
Edit your photos too. If someone tagged you in a photo and you want to remove it, just click on “remove tag”. Perhaps upload some new photos you like.
Visit the Home Page or News Feed and comment or like some posts you see there. Invite some new people to be your friend that you recently met at a business event. Explore all parts of your own site, and when you feel confident that it is cleaned up and looking good, it is time to try some new things.
Mari Smith is an expert at social media and has written such a comprehensive report, that I would be remiss if I did not direct you to the link that will keep you busy all week on Facebook. If you are ready to take Facebook to the next level, click here.
You do not need to do everything at once, but visit Facebook each day and get connected with people and commenting on posts while making your own as well!
Keep tweeting if you have time, click on the tweet button in this post, and comment and share if you have learned anything new this week! And please “Like” my Facebook page if you have not already.
